Group Workshops

The Group Workshops will be open to anyone that wants experience with different acting techniques, and is not limited to East Asians. These could be of interest for professional actors wanting to refresh their knowledge/learn new techniques, or a beginner who wants a fun, new experience. These will be led by specialist guest instructors.

Participants will be invited to pick and choose which workshops they attend, ensuring their training fits around other commitments. Topics may include but are not limited to; Stanislavski, Chekov, Lecoq, Meisner, Viewpoints, Grotowski, Screen Acting, Laban, Physical Theatre, Improvisation, Alexander Technique, Classical Text (Shakespeare, Greek, Jacobean) and Audition Technique.

Lab sessions for professional actors (Actor’s Work Out) : for out-of-work professional actors who can share and work on scenes or monologue and rehearsed reading of East Asian text with an experienced acting coach. This is specifically aimed at international professional actors that want to keep practising on a regular basis when out of work. 

Acting for Business : The ActorTects has designed our ‘Acting for Business’ course for multi-national companies or individuals in the UK. We offer a tailored workshop targeting specific companies or individuals to work on: confidence, teamwork, presentation skills and communication skills. This programme was developed in South Korea working with a variety of corporations.
