Industry Preparation

This service involves 1-1 coaching and consulting for the UK based East Asians from different acting experience backgrounds. This service aims to help actors prepare for and break into the UK acting industry.

• Introduction to basic acting techniques through monologue work, scene work and text analysis e.g. Stanislavski

• Build confidence and remove any emotional barriers through relaxation and play e.g. Alexander Technique, Lecoq

• Improvisation to build the character using space and time e.g. Viewpoints and Laban

• Basic work on text including focused work on Shakespeare

• Help with interview technique in order to create a positive impression at an audition

• Free workshops to help them continue and maintain their ongoing training through our theatre company. This will include accent training for non-native English speakers in cooperation with native speakers who specialise in vocal coaching.

• Direct access to a production company which promotes and encourages East Asian actors. 

• One -to-One students can attend Group Workshops for free.
